Queenstown Location Fee:

A location fee of NZ$260 applies to all campervans picked up or dropped off in Queenstown (for same city collection and return only one fee applies). 

One-Way Fee:

The One-Way fee is charged per hire. Minimum One-Way rental period requirements are subject to change. 

The below fees will apply: 

  • A One-Way fee of NZ$189 applies where pick up originates from Auckland and returns to Christchurch or Queenstown, where pick up is between 1 April and 30 September
  • A One-Way fee of NZ$295 applies where pick up originates from Auckland and returns to Christchurch or Queenstown, where pick up is between 1 October and 31 March
  • A One-Way fee of NZ$189 applies where pick up originates from Christchurch to Queenstown, where pick up is between 1 April and 31 March
  • A One-Way fee of NZ$89 applies where pick up originates from Queenstown to Christchurch, where pick up is between 1 October and 31 March
  • A One-Way fee of NZ$189 applies where pick up originates from Christchurch or Queenstown to Auckland, where pick up is between 1 October and 31 March

Hobart pick up fee: 

A Hobart pick up fee of AU$120 applies to all campervans picked in Hobart. 

Broome Location fee: 

A location fee of AU$875 applies to all campervans picked up or dropped off in Broome (for same city collection and return, only one fee applies). 

One-Way Fee: 

  • A One-Way fee of AU$195 applies where pick up originates from Cairns, Brisbane, Sydney, Melbourne, Hobart or Adelaide and returns to these locations. 
  • A One-Way fee of AU$295 applies where pick up originates from Darwin, Broome, Alice Springs or Perth, and returns to any location or where pick up is from any location and returns to Darwin, Broome, Alice Springs or Perth.

This is additional to any other fees that may apply. 

A NZ$120 surcharge will apply to all rentals picked up and/or dropped off on observed public holiday dates at the pick-up and drop-off location. 

An AU$120 surcharge will apply to all rentals picked up and/or dropped off on observed public holiday dates at the pick-up and drop-off location. 

Permission for thl to retain the credit or debit card details to allow for the recovery of any amounts due by the guest during or upon conclusion of their campervan rental pursuant to the Rental Agreement Terms and Conditions. 

These charges include, but are not limited to, vehicle cleaning (this includes toilet and waste water tank emptying), speeding, toll way, parking or freedom camping fines, on road assistance, delivery and return of vehicle, late drop off fees, failure to return the vehicle with full diesel or petrol tanks or full LPG bottle (pre-paid fuel and pre-paid gas is included in the Refuelling Pack), rental extensions or Exclusions. 

For security purposes, only the guest’s credit or debit card can be used for the Credit Card Authority. 

The Liability Deposit is refundable provided the vehicle is returned undamaged. 

Refunds by credit card can take up to 14 business days depending on the terms and conditions adopted by your nominated financial institution. 

We accept credit cards/debit cards from Visa, MasterCard and American Express. 

Please note, a surcharge of 3.05% will apply to all Visa and MasterCard credit card/debit card transactions. 

A 5.4% fee is applicable to American Express credit cards. 

Don’t forget to check that your credit or debit card has the funds available and that the amount does not exceed your daily withdrawal allowance.

Please note that a foreign currency fee may be charged by some banks (please check with your provider) at the time the debited bond is paid. This fee will not be refunded.

We accept credit cards/debit cards from Visa, MasterCard and American Express. 

Please note, a surcharge of 1.9% will apply to all Visa and MasterCard Debit card transactions and 2.8% will apply to all Visa and MasterCard Credit card transactions. A 2.6% fee is applicable to American Express credit cards. 

Only Visa credit or Visa debit card, MasterCard credit or MasterCard debit card, or American Express credit card are acceptable to use for the purpose of the Liability Deposit.

Vehicles must be returned in a reasonable state of cleanliness, completely free of mud, rubbish and pet hair. 

If applicable, the toilet and waste water tank must both be returned empty or a $299 including GST cleaning fee will be charged to you in respect to each tank. 

A cleaning fee up to $299 including GST will be charged if the vehicle is returned in an unreasonable state of cleanliness and/or should the vehicle need deodorising as a result of prohibited smoking. 

A pet cleaning fee of $315 including GST will apply in relation to additional cleaning of the vehicle where you travel with pets during the rental period. This excludes service animals. 

The cost of using New Zealand's roads is recovered from road users via levies in the price of some fuels or through road user charges (RUC). The Road User Charge Recovery Fee will be calculated and collected on return of the RV based on the kilometres travelled during the hire. The fee per 100km is as follows: 

4 Berth and 6 Berth toilet & shower: $8.04 

All other vehicles: $7.64 

We reserve the right to amend the Road User Charge Recovery Fee upon Government intervention without notice.
